Karin, It's so wonderful to follow your trip with Jun Fen. We're leaving in two weeks to get our six year old in Hunan and your story is such an inspiration! Not to mention comforting. JunFen has the most wonderful smile and I'm sure you know that you are so lucky to have her.

JunFen, you take such beautiful photos! I especially like the ones you take of your mama with a big smile on her face. She is so happy to be your mom!
I like my carbs, too!!

Enjoy Guangzhou. It is beautiful. I just love seeing JunFen's beautiful, smiling face. What a joy to watch a little girl and her momma find each other. I pray that watching your story will encourage others that may be feeling lead to consider adopting an older child. What a gift all children are, and that video says it all! In Christ, Cindy

I so appreciate that you have not renamed JunFen. It bothers me that most adoptive parents of Chinese children decide to arbitrarily change the child's name. To me it says something about a sense of "ownership" and a lack of respect for the child. Making the child's Chinese name their middle name so they can choose to use it later is not the same as giving them an English middle name which they can choose to use later if they want. Thank you. JunFen is a wonderful little girl!

JunFen is so musical and such an expressive dancer. Is there a ballerina or olympic skater in the making? It is a precious time together. Thanks for sharing your joy and her sweet self. God bless.

Your trip is so inspiring. Your little Gem is beautiful. And I just love the Momma song too! I pray your family grow in love for one another and in the Love of Jesus. The Journey has just begun! It's funny how when we seek Him first, that He truly will give to us the desires of our heart.
